Cat, pig and Sunrise.

We still have the feral cat coming for meals and she is looking much better than when she first appeared. She seems to have filled out and is looking like a house cat now. Although she does not interact as far as stroking goes she will come for food 3 times a day. When she is given food she will still give the customary hiss as you pass her. At first it was just a few pellets in the morning and evening to supplement her food and keep her going but it has now become an ongoing ritual with her expecting more every day. Luckily we have chicken very often so there is always bones and scraggy bits left which she seems to enjoy more than pellets .Warm milk is also a bonus and she loves it.

Some mornings the sunrise is not very colourful which is usually when rain in due.

But not to worry some days the mornings are quite colourful which is an uplift for the day.

At least the clouds are good for a photo.

I feel very bad about not going to see Alice but my daughter has been with the grandkids and she is now with the general population in the large enclosure.

I saw on the news this morning that one of our ministers who is up on corruption charges left her animals including many pigs without food and the SPCA had to rescue them. This is a sad situation but is getting out of hand now like in Zimbabwe where ministers are getting large tracts of land for very little and just ignoring it`s usage for the benefit of the masses. We only hear of these things after the fact and the rest of the world don’t seem to care. I`m sure that if it were white people doing this, there would be a worldwide outcry.

This was Alice and Angel a few weeks ago and they had plenty to eat.

And Alice still gets her brushing when I see her.

  1. Such a pretty kitty. She had found her peeps in you. That’s great that you are feeding her my friend. And you can never have a bad sunset picture – they are gorgeous! Alice looks delightfully happy in the last picture. It really makes this oinker smile. XOXO – Bacon

Thank`s for the great comments. The kitty was very skinny when it first came so we got pellets to give her twice a day to feed her up but she prefers scraps of chicken:-) As for sunrises it seems to have become another of those things I try to do every morning, I very often forget the sunsets as they are at the other side of the house.Alice seems to be doing very well and ihave got the grand kids to go and see her more often now that they all have yearly passes into the sanctuary.
